The Individual Benefits Sales Specialist works to sell health insurance over the phone to individuals across the United States. You may occasionally work with individuals face-to-face as well. The Individual Benefits Sales Specialist is responsible for selling under-65 health insurance and over-65 health insurance products, as well as ancillary products such as dental and vision. 100% of all leads are provided by affiliate agents. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have their Iowa health insurance license or the ability to obtain the license within 45 days of hire. Additional state licenses will be added after hire date

  • Candidate must have a four-year degree or the equivalent relevant work experience

  • Candidate should have a minimum of two years of sales experience

This position works a lot in Microsoft Excel and AgencyBloc to ensure commissions are matched up to specific policies and paid out to agents properly.

 

The Commission Specialist I is part of a team but will work independently as well.
