Level2 account Manager

Now Hiring: Full-Time Level 2 Account Manager

Group Benefits, Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Level 2 Individual Account Manager at their Urbandale, Iowa office. 

 

Group Benefits is a general insurance agency - they sell health insurance, dental, and life both on the group side as well as individual insurance, medical supplements, etc. The Level 2 Individual Account Manager will work to provide support to the agents during the sale of individual health insurance and provide support to the individuals and their families throughout the benefit cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with their level 2 in-house agents gathering personal information on clients for them to quote and data entry

  • 50/50 time spent completing outbound phone calls to gather information and entering into their system

  • During the last quarter, it would be 75/25 with the 75 reaching out to gather information and then entering that into our system

  • Provide timely, courteous, and accurate responses to all inquiries either from the agent or the individual client and their families

  • Process all necessary paperwork by adhering to the established sales and retention processes

  • Communicate with carriers and clients in an effective and friendly manner

TOP 2 Qualifications:

  • Health and Life Insurance License within 45 days of hire

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in the insurance industry
     

Other Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or the equivalent relevant work experience

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook

  • AgencyBloc or similar agency management software experience preferred

Data Entry

Now Hiring: Full-Time Data Entry

Group Benefits, Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Data Entry position at their Urbandale, Iowa office. 

 

Group Benefits is a general insurance agency - they sell health insurance, dental, and life both on the group side as well as individual insurance, medical supplements, etc. This person will be working on the individual side.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will not ever have an empty inbox - there will always be applications to enter and call on

  • This person will be working on the individual side

  • Will come in and start going through their inbox

  • They will look at the application, enter it into Agency Block, and create an activity

  • Some people may already be there so will need to do a follow-up and update

  • Will call the carrier and determine if the person has enrolled and then update the activity

  • Will be completing the shell of the application basically

  • 50/50 as far as data entry and outbound phone calls. Calls will all go to carriers

  • Some on the individual and some on the group side

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in the insurance industry
     

Other Qualifications

Group Benefits, Ltd. has an immediate opening for a full-time Level 2 Group Support Specialist at their Urbandale, Iowa office. The Level 2 Group Support Specialist is part of a team but will also work independently.


The Level 2 Group Support Specialist will work to input data and information and perform follow-ups on those activities to support GBL teams and provide better service to our agents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter data into system efficiently and accurately

  • Follow up and provide status updates on activities in the system

  • Answer phones as needed and greet visitors

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook

  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent, required

  • Previous experience with data entry

  • AgencyBloc or similar agency management software experience preferred

  • Strong customer service background

  • Experience working in the health insurance industry is preferred, but not required

 

Other Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and driven

  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability, actively listen and problem-solve with minimal assistance

  • Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy

  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
